Job Description
Position Responsibilities:
-Acquire products and services necessary to execute the Program under subcontracts and agreements with the Prime Contract/s with the US Government
-Assure subcontractor compliance with all applicable US Government laws and regulations
-Solicit, negotiate, award and administer subcontracts and agreements with suppliers
-Evaluate potential suppliers and manage the full portfolio of suppliers, including both Small and Large business subcontractors
-Assure conformance of all products and services delivered with defined subcontract requirements
-Operate effectively in an Integrated Process Team (IPT) environment to support the mission execution of the Program with the Prime Contractor and cross-functional teams
Position Requirements:
10 years experience in Contracts, Procurement, or Purchasing for DoD programs. Previous experience in Small Business compliance and implementation of Socio-Economic requirements for DoD programs.
-Knowledge of defense market and DoD contracting practices
-Knowledge of Socio-Economic programs and requirements in Federal contracts
-Experience in managing source selections and negotiating mission-critical contracts
-Experience in contract administration and implementation of Best Practices in contract management processes
-Certification (CPCM, CFCM, CPP, CPPM or CPPO) preferred
