Job Description
Job Summary:
The Aircraft Foreign Military Sales Program Manager will be responsible for program management activities including planning, scheduling, coordinating, and reporting as required to facilitate the timely delivery of the Aircraft.
Job Responsibilities:
-Management of subcontracts.
-Responsible for cost, schedule, technical performance and quality of the contracts.
-Develop a formalized a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) & an Integrated Master Plan (IMP) that tracks all phases of existing and future support contracts.
-Manage and update WBS, IMS and IMP as required to ensure scheduled activities and milestones are being met, including payments plan.
-Evaluate and make recommendations for improving the delivery of contracted parts and services to the client.
-Develop risk management strategy/plan to identify, assess, document, and manage program risks.
-Coordinate with contracting and legal team members to ensure programs are being managed per contractual requirements. Apply guidance and redirection as required to ensure programs stay on track.
Education/Qualifications:
-BS degree in Aerospace (or a related field) required; Masters degree preferred.
-10-15 years experience managing DoD fixed wing aircraft related programs.
-Qualified candidates must have experience as program manager of aircraft modifications, systems integration and certification strongly desired.
-Experience managing programs with international customers/partners strongly desired.
-Fluency in Spanish strongly desired.
